I think herself is concerned that she may be one of the only people now living who is familiar with the correct use of the apostrophe.
Also, does everyone else read food packaging labels when there is nothing else available? I think it is hereditary; my father still knows off by heart all the labels which graced his parents’ table in the 20s and 30s.
Wait a second! Those apostrophes seem right to me. Or have I missed the point?
Yes, I’ve just spent longer than was probably sensible checking thatmyself. Maybe the Princess’s expectations of correct apostrophisation are so low that she’s taken to only emailing about the ones that are right to save time?

Both, I am pleased that you have been worried about apostrophes. To clarify: she is relieved that the cereal box was correct. She sees in this hope for the future of the apostrophe.

Indeed, I did read these labels. That’s why my French and Italian vocabularies are not bad – I’m Swiss and each label here is in German, French and Italian …
