That is a bit morbid. Do you live in an area with a high concentration of older people? I find with elderly clients that they like to make definite plans about funeral arrangements and they can take you aback sometimes with their practicality. I remember one of my grandfathers too having given very specific instructions to the local undertaker about certain practical gravedigging arrangements. (In the usual rural way this was done across the bar while drinking a half-one purchased from the undertaker in his guise as a publican. Long before Charles Handy these guys had portfolio careers.)
By the same token (well, sort of) I am always bemused when I read books set in the U.K. or the U.S. and adult characters declare that they’ve never seen a dead person before. I think I was kept clear of wakes etc. until the age of about 10 or so but after that I saw any amount of relatives laid out.

Never too early to start planning.

Welcome to Dublin, Pog.
Yeah, it probably is a bit of an older area, Eimear and you’re probably right about the funeral planning too. But still and all.
BroLo, speaking of funerals, did you know those 92 year old twins?
